Overview
We’re looking for photographers to complete a short skill evaluation test designed to assess your camera control, consistency, and ability to follow structured visual instructions. This task helps us evaluate your readiness for ongoing paid photography assignments that require precision and attention to detail.
In this test, you’ll capture a small series of staged photos showing controlled object removal, movement, and (optionally) focus control.
What You’ll Do
Set up simple scenes using everyday objects
Capture sequences with steady camera positioning
Maintain consistent lighting, exposure & white balance
Follow step-by-step instructions to create structured photographic subsets
Deliver clean image sequences that demonstrate control and precision
Optionally showcase focus control between objects at different depths
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience using a camera with manual exposure and focus controls
Ability to keep the camera steady (tripod strongly recommended)
Strong understanding of framing and lighting consistency
Ability to follow direction and shoot structured sequences
Attention to detail in capturing before/after changes
Professional approach to file formatting and delivery
Output & Submission Requirements
You will capture 1 dataset organized into 3 subsets:
Subset 1 — Objects Removal (3 photos) — Required
Subset 2 — Object Movement (2 photos) — Required
Subset 3 — Focus Change (2 photos) — Optional
Total: 5–7 photos
Format: JPG (highest quality)
Min resolution: 1024px on shortest side
File size: 3–45 MB
No filters, no auto exposure shifts, no camera movement between shots
