Want to take on paid creative work through Wirestock? Start by showing us what you do best. Start with the Applications tab to browse opportunities, apply, and check the status of your work.
Who can apply?
Applications is open to both new and existing Wirestock creators. Use it to demonstrate a skill you already work with or put a new one forward. For example, if you joined as a photographer and now also do design, you can apply for a design opportunity.
You’ll need to sign in to apply. If you don’t have an account, create one first, then open Applications from the sidebar. There is no other way to access creator opportunities, so make sure you complete this step.
Choosing an opportunity
Open the Available tab to browse opportunities, then read the description and brief for one that interests you. These explain what the opportunity involves and how to apply. Please note that applications come with an unpaid test task used by our team to assess your skills and find you the right work.
After you apply, our team then reviews your submission. If approved, you earn the relevant certified skill or skills on your profile and join our creator pool. Approval doesn’t automatically assign you to a project, but it means your profile is now qualified for paid work.
You can apply to several opportunities at once, with one active submission per opportunity. If an opportunity is marked Full, it isn’t accepting new submissions.
What are certified skills?
A certified skill is recognition of your abilities on your Wirestock profile. You earn a certified skill or skills when the team approves your application, helping them consider you for work that matches what you do.
Complete and submit your application
Each opportunity has its own form and submission requirements. Follow the brief, fill in the required fields, and attach the requested work.
Your answers save automatically, but attached files don’t stay in your draft if you refresh the page. If you return to a draft, check that your files are attached before submitting.
Take a final look at your answers and uploads. Once submitted, you can’t edit or withdraw the application while it’s pending. You’ll see a “Thank you for submitting!” confirmation when it goes through.
Check your review status
Your submission now appears in the Applied tab as Under review, meaning it’s waiting for the team’s decision. Check this tab for updates. The estimate says “within a few days,” but review times vary and at the moment there’s no fixed timeline.
If you’re approved
The relevant certified skill is added to your profile, and you join Wirestock’s qualified creator pool. Project managers select creators from this pool and invite them to paid work.
Approval makes you eligible for consideration, but it doesn’t guarantee a project invitation right away. You can continue exploring other opportunities in the meantime.
If your application needs changes
A Rejected or Changes needed status comes with feedback under What to improve. Use that feedback to revise your work, then choose Apply again in the Applied tab.
Your previous answers will be pre-filled, so you can update them without starting over. You’ll need to upload your files again. If the opportunity has a waiting period, the card will show “Apply again in X days.”
Ready to show us what you can do? Head to Applications and find an opportunity that fits your skills.
