BioI’ve been passionate about photography since I was a kid, starting out with a film SLR and eventually turning that passion into a profession over twentyfive years ago.
I strive to capture the best possible image in camera, paying close attention to composition, lighting, and depth of field. I prefer minimal post-production, believing that a great photo starts at the moment of the shot.
That said, I’m skilled in the main editing, retouching, and compositing tools, and use them professionally when needed.
I also have a strong background in visual arts, and I think a certain painterly sensibility comes through in my work. I'm active in the performing arts scene as well, collaborating in the production of live shows, a creative environment that I hope adds something special to my event photography.
